WHAT I DO & WHAT I CHARGE 2018-05-25T08:30:24+00:00

What I do and what I charge

Professionally, I have worked as a therapist for over ten years now and this includes a variety of settings including schools, a Therapeutic Community and a prison setting. I currently work in private practice with individuals, couples and small groups. I adopt a flexible approach according to the needs of the clients and the direction they wish to go. As a result my work is both short and long term in nature.

I originally trained in Transactional Analysis, but my work has become more integrative in nature as I have undertaken various training incorporating ways of working from a whole range of modalities.

  • Certified Transactional Analyst in Psychotherapy – CTA (P)
  • MSc in TA Psychotherapy
  • Post-Graduate Clinical Diploma (Transactional Analysis Counselling)
  • BEd. (Hons.)

I continue to undertake regular continued professional development covering a range of topics/themes.  My current emphasis has been working through a trauma-informed approach.

Membership of professional bodies

I am a registered member of:

  • UK Council for Psychotherapy and Counselling – UKCP
  • BACP

I am bound by the Code of Ethics of the UKCP, the BACP and UKATA.  I hold professional indemnity insurance and undertake regular supervision of my work.

My current fees are:

  • £50 per hour for individuals
  • £70 per session for couples (Sessions are 1.5 hours in duration)

Group charges vary depending upon the nature of group, length of sessions and duration of the work.
